TV fans are buzzing with the excitement of the Primetime Emmys, coming up on September 16, 2007. Some of the winners for me are…

Outstanding Drama Series is a tough choice between Heroes and 24. Both are ultra super and make me feel like I am part of it. I can’t wait for the next episode and my friends and I keep talking about it and keep guessing what’s in store for us in the next episode. Today’s dramas are far better than the stereotypical mundane stuff of the 80’s and 90’s.

Outstanding Reality Program would have to be Amazing Race or unfortunately not nominated Pirate Master. I enjoyed both immensely. Since Pirate Master isn’t nominated I guess I’ll have to settle for wanting Amazing Race to win.

Outstanding Comedy Series is a choice between Ugly Betty, 30 Rock, Boston Legal or Entourage, although I don’t find too much comedy in Entourage, just lifestyles of the rich and the famous. I think 30 Rock should make it.

I also think that CSI, one of the three, should win something. It's awesome and we all learn how to kill someone and getaway with it, or at least give the cops a hard time finding out the killer.

Lead Actor in a Drama Series should go to Kiefer Sutherland – no doubt about it, although I do like James Gandolfini in the Sopranos.

Lead Actress in a Comedy Series ought to go to America Ferrera for her role in Ugly Betty. She plays that role very well.

I'll look forward to the Emmys, where I can sit back and relax as I watch acceptance speeches from all my favorites.
